Crystal Palace have been linked with a sensational move for Brighton and Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk according to a report from the Croydon Advertiser.
Dunk has been a star performer for the Seagulls this season and is one of the main reasons why they remain a contender for automatic promotion to the Premier League so it’s no surprise to see him linked with a move to the top tier. However the team he is linked with is a surprise.
Brighton and Crystal Palace remain big rivals, especially with their last game being in the play off semi final which the Eagles won before progressing to win at Wembley and progressing to the Premier League. And while the last player to switch teams took place five years ago when Glenn Murray moved to Palace, Dunk may be about to follow should the Seagulls fail in their bid for promotion.
With his consistent performances and young age, he has been seen as an ideal replacement for the ageing Damien Delaney.
