After a wonderful FA Cup semi-final win last weekend, attention turns back to the Premier League for Crystal Palace as they make the trip north to take on Newcastle United.
Although the likelihood of relegation is unlikely at this stage, Palace still aren’t mathematically safe so will be keen to leave St James’ Park with three points that will make them feel more secure than they do now.
Alan Pardew returns to his old stomping ground, one where had huge success and although he’s publically admitted that he wants Newcastle to stay up, he won’t be taking things easy on his former side.
With no real injury doubts to worry about, Pardew will be able to select his strongest eleven up in the north east and he’ll have plenty of options to choose from at the business end of the season.
