The threat of relegation was very unlikely for Crystal Palace even before the game with Stoke City, but a 2-1 win took them to 42 points with a game to play, meaning they will 100% be a Premier League side next season.
That means that Alan Pardew can now rest his players against Southampton as Palace look ahead to the FA Cup showdown with Manchester United at Wembley Stadium on the 21st May.
