In this week’s CPFC Podcast, Alfonso Greenbrook reviews the game against Stoke City by giving you his Match Review, Player Rankings as well as his ‘Man Of The Match’.
Two goals from Dwight Gayle (Undoubtedly ‘The Man Of The Match’) turned the game upside down and saw Crystal Palace claim the three points that mathematically secure their place in the Premier League (42 Points) and help lift the club to fourteenth in the league after beating Stoke City.
Charlie Adam gave Stoke the lead at half-time with a strike from a tight angle but just a minute after the restart, Gayle notched his first after some brilliant, weaving play from Yannick Bolasie to create the chance.
Gayle then put his side in front midway through the second half with a vicious free-kick, his seventh goal of the campaign.
Alan Pardew’s men can now go into the final game of the season knowing that they are safe in the Premier League and can also look forward to a trip to Wembley for the F.A Cup final against Manchester United.
