Crystal Palace are thought to be interested in Newcastle defender Paul Dummett.
According to the Newcastle Chronicle, the relegated side could be in danger of losing the Welshman.
Dummett, 24, did recently sign a new contract at St James’ Park, however, so any fee might not come on the cheap.
Alan Pardew is apparently keen to make an enquiry with Newcastle.

One small snag might be whether Dummett wants to make the move back to the Premier League. The defender was a proud Magpies season ticket holder and could be content to stay in the Championship with the club.
He would, though, count as a homegrown player for any prospective buyer – something becoming ever important – and is an international too – expected to represent Wales in the upcoming European Championships in France.
In fact, he could well play for Wales as they take on Sweden in a pre-tournament friendly on June 5th.
If the right offer comes in, the Newcastle player may well be tempted by a return to the country’s top league.
