It was heartbreak once again for Palace in the FA Cup Final as 10-man Manchester United came from behind after a fantastic goal from Jason Puncheon to win 2-1 after extra time thanks to some controversial decisions from the referee (ability not to play an advantage) and substitute Jesse Lingard’s winner in the second half of the additional period.
After the final whistle, many of the Palace players and fans fell to the ground in physical exhaustion and emotion after giving 100% effort over 120 minutes as Alan Pardew suffered a third FA Cup Final loss.
