According to the Mirror, Crystal Palace is targeting Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason, who is assumed to be leaving White Hart Lane this summer.
Mason played a huge role for Pochettino’s side last season, however, due to injury and the emergence of Dele Alli, the Tottenham product has been demoted to the bench.
Mason has recently been linked with a move to Bournemouth as Spurs look to swap the 24-year-old for Callum Wilson, a target Tottenham has been eyeing since January.
However, although Spurs are hoping to sign the Bournemouth star, it is believed that Ryan Mason will only leave White Hart Lane for the right club, giving Palace a chance to sign the England international.
Mason has appeared in 22 Premier League and six Europa League matches this season, scoring only one goal.
Crystal Palace is reported to have valued the Spurs home-grown player around £4 million, however, Spurs owner, Daniel Levy, values Mason around £8 million. If Palace is hoping to sign the England international, they’ll have to negotiate with the strong-headed Levy.
