Crystal Palace have today confirmed that the centre-half Damien Delaney and goalkeeper Julian Speroni have both signed one-year deals at Selhust Park.
Both players had contracts which were set to expire this summer, but the Eagles felt it was right to award both with new deals to keep them in SE25 for one more year.
Defender Delaney has been an ever-present at the heart of Palace’s defence since making the switch from Watford in 2012. The Republic of Ireland international has always been a key part of Palace’s recent successes, including promotion, sustaining a Premier League status and getting to the final of the FA Cup.

Julian Speroni, on the other hand, has always been a Palace man through and through and is truly loved by the Eagles’ fan base. The Argentine has featured 388 times for Pardew’s side and was probably unfortunate not to see more time in between the posts last campaign.
In other news, Crystal Palace also confirmed that the forward duo of Emmanuael Adebayor and Maruone Chamakh have left Selhurst Park after their deals come to an end.
Former Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has also departed. The final few to also leave SE25 are defenders Adrian Mariappa and former captain Paddy McCarthy, whilst Chris Kettings has also left.
