Former Liverpool and Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace once again, according to the Croydon Advertiser
Having been linked with a move to Palace in January, he is yet again rumoured to be a target for the Eagles after falling out of favour under Rafa Benitez and being one of the highest earners in Newcastle United, he could be offloaded to reduce the wage bill after their relegation.

Jonjo Shelvey, who used to work under Alan Pardew at Charlton Athletic, is looking to reunite with his former boss again, this time at Crystal Palace.
Although his wages could be a problem too for Crystal Palace, who also want to bring in Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul, Pardew doesn’t think it could be a really big problem, considering the quality that he could offer to the team.
The odds on a move are looking good too, with a Ladbrokes promo code.

Shelvey was once highly-rated and considered a wonder kid and a player for the future having made his debut when he was only 16 years old at Charlton and making a move to Liverpool. However, his poor form combined with poor disciplinary record saw him offloaded to Swansea City where he still continued his poor disciplinary record.
He then signed for Newcastle United on January 2016. This time, he improved a little bit. He was named Man of the Match in his debut against West Ham United but Rafa Benitez still doesn’t seem to be impressed with those little improvements, saying there are no guarantees that he will be in his preferred Championship XI.

Alan Pardew would hope to be able to pull off a deal to land the midfielder. He is also confident that he could be the one to bring him back to his old form.
