Crystal Palace have expressed their interest in signing Sochaux defender Jerome Onguene, according to reports.
However, they are not alone. Championship side Aston Villa have also reportedly been interested in getting the signature of the 18-year-old and Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are also interested.
The Cameroon-born defender has been capped in the France under-19 team, and is set to play against the England, Croatia and Holland under-19 teams at the UEFA Under-19 championships in July.
In the past year, he has been watched by scouts from Arsenal, as well as Newcastle United, however they did not sign him.
Alan Pardew will reportedly look to bring him in to start the 2016-17, and add some youth to the Palace defence.
Sochaux have expressed that they would like to keep Onguene, however, selling him would help financially.
Trabzonspor have reportedly offered £1.75million for the youngster, meaning that Crystal Palace would probably register a bid in the region of £2million for him if they do wish to sign him.
