Crystal Palace have reportedly had a bid for Franco Vazquez rejected by Seria A side Palermo.
According to reports in Italy, Palace’s offer was deemed to be too low by Palermo but the Eagles are expected to come back with a higher bid.
If Palace are looking to sign the 27-year-old, they’ll have to battle with clubs such as AC Milan, Sevilla and West Brom, all of whom are apparently interested in signing him too.

Vazquez was born and raised in Argentina but plays his international football for Italy, who he is eligible to play for due to his mother being Italian.
Vazquez, who plays as either an attacking midfielder or a ‘number ten’, was in great form for Palermo last year. He played in 36 Serie A games, where he managed to score eight goals and assist a further six for his teammates.
Palace seem keen on adding more attacking players to their squad, it remains to be seen if Vazquez will be playing at Selhurst Park next year.
