Crystal Palace will look to swoop in to sign Inter Milan full-back Davide Santon after his proposed move to Sunderland collapsed.
According to the Chronicle, Inter Milan ‘moved the goalposts’ in terms of Santon’s £3million move to the North East, with a suggestion that they are still annoyed with Sunderland over the Ricky Alvarez transfer saga.
Alan Pardew knows Santon well from their time together at Newcastle and he is prepared to pay around £3million to bring him to Selhurst Park.

The full-back, who is versatile enough to play on either side of the defence, would be a great addition to the Palace squad and would provide depth to the squad and is easily good enough to earn a starting role.
Santon is likely to want to make a move as he is behind Danilo D’Ambrosio and Yuto Nagatomo in the pecking order.
The Italian international only made 12 Serie A appearances last season.
