Newcastle United’s Moussa Sissoko could be subject to interest from Crystal Palace, according to French website le10sport, with potential for a big-money move.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a good tournament at the European Championships with host nation France and now could be heading back to the Premier League following relegation to the Championship with the Magpies last season.
Sissoko joined Newcastle in January 2013, joining a growing French contingent at the time, with five Frenchmen joining in that transfer window alone. He’s proved to be a regular in their side since his arrival at St. James’ Park, playing 37 games in the Premier League in 2015/16.

However, following The Magpies’ drop to the second tier, there has been increasing amounts of speculation about his future heading into the final month of the window, including some rumours that Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid are looking at the French international. Despite the rumours, little progress appears to be being made on a deal to take the winger away from the north-east.
Le10sport say that Palace have reignited their interest in Sissoko recently, and are in talks with Newcastle about a potential transfer. This would be the second move between the two clubs this summer, with Andros Townsend having already returned to London following half a year on Tyneside.

According to the article, The Eagles aren’t high on the list of clubs Sissoko wants to play for, but he could be persuaded by the effort they’re putting in to lure him back to the top-flight. At Selhurst Park, he would again be able to work with Alan Pardew, the manager who brought him to England in the first place.
Sissoko has played 133 times in all competitions for Newcastle, scoring 12 goals. He’s also played 44 times for France’s senior team, including six games at this summer’s Euros.
