According to the Croydon Advertiser, Crystal Palace have made an enquiry about the possibility of signing Norwich City midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu.
The report says that Palace have contacted the Canaries to ask about the midfielder’s availability as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign.
Marseille are also thought to be keen, which means that Palace may face some competition if the do wish to sign the player.
Mulumbu joined Norwich from West Brom on a free transfer left summer. He signed a two-year deal at the time, which means he only has one year left on his contract.
He doesn’t appear to be high up in Alex Neil’s plans at Norwich, so a move away from the club could come at a good time.
Following Norwich’s relegation to the Championship, the club may want to offload some of their bigger earners – with Mulumbu likely to be one of them.
