Crystal Palace target Islam Slimani is focussed on a move to the Premier League this summer, according to A Bola (h/t Sport Witness).
Slimani recently handed in a transfer request in the hope of securing a move to the Premier League, but nothing appears imminent for the Algerian hitman. The forward handed in the request after Swansea had a £17m bid rejected by Sporting.
The 28-year-old has also been linked with West Ham, West Brom and Arsenal this summer after he bagged 31 goals in 46 games for the Portuguese side last term.
West Brom saw a €20m bid turned down for Slimani earlier this summer, according to Portuguese source Record, and have since upped their offer to €25m and they are waiting on a response from the Liga NOS side.

Sporting are holding out for €30m to sell Slimani this summer, a fee which West Brom and every other interested club have been unwilling to meet thus far, but the player himself could force a move.
A Bola states that Slimani’s ‘head is in England’ as he longs for a move to the Premier League, which has been discussed with over 16 Premier League clubs in the last year.
Alan Pardew has seen a £30m bid knocked back by Liverpool for Christian Benteke, so he has to turn his attentions to other targets and would need to offer a similar fee if he hopes to lure Islam Slimani to Selhurst Park.
