Sporting CP striker Islam Slimani is looking for a move to the Premier League, according to Portuguese publication Record, via TeamTalk.
A bid of £17m is thought to have been lodged by an unnamed Premier League side recently. The forward has handed in a transfer request as a result of this, as he looks to push through a move to the Premier League. Now, Record are saying that he is very keen to move to the Premier League, with Southampton, Everton and West Brom interested.
Crystal Palace have been linked to Slimani earlier this summer, and could be keeping an eye on proceedings.
Slimani was in prolific form last season, notching 31 goals in all competitions for Sporting. He has scored 56 in 107 games for the club to date, and is seen as one of the best finishers in Portugal.
However, Palace may be unlikely to move for Slimani if a move for Christian Benteke does go through.
