Crystal Palace have submitted an €8m + add-ons bid for Genoa midfielder Tomás Rincón, according to Sky Sports and Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 28-year-old has been a target for several clubs this summer including Cagliari, Torino and more notably AC Milan in recent times with reports suggesting that talks between the two clubs over a fee are ongoing.
Rincón has featured for Venezula on 75 occasions with his first international appearance being against Haiti in 2008. Last year, he became the captain for his home country, seeing him take his side to the quarter-finals in the Copa América this summer.

Crystal Palace have made several additions so far this summer with former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke being the highlight. The club have also completed transfers for James Tomkins, Steve Mandanda and Andros Townsend.
Alan Pardew and Steve Parish are set for a busy final couple of days in the transfer window with it being mentioned that the club are working on “one or two” more transfers into the club with the possibility of more players leaving.
