Crystal Palace are closing in on a season-long loan deal for Chelsea forward Loic Remy, according to Sky Sports.
The 29-year-old who has not featured in the Chelsea squad this season, with the French international’s playing time at Stamford Bridge further limited by new arrival Michy Batshuayi.

Remy joined Chelsea from QPR in the summer of 2014, but the majority of his appearances have come off Chelsea’s bench, having made only nine Premier League starts since his move from QPR in 2014.
The Frenchman only scored three goals in 20 appearances last season, however, his only Premier League goal was against Leicester City in a 2-1 defeat, with the other goals coming in the early stages of the Capital One cup.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has expressed his desire to make another addition to his squad, despite breaking the club transfer record by signing Belgium striker Christian Benteke from Liverpool for £32m.
