Crystal Palace are set to complete the loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Loic Remy today, according to the London Evening Standard.
It is being reported that the 29-year-old is to undergo a medical at the club today ahead of a loan move that will include a view to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
Remy has failed to convince Antonio Conte that he deserves a place at the West London club and will instead re-join Alan Pardew who managed the player at Newcastle United.

He will be the fifth signing at Selhurst Park this summer after the arrival of James Tomkins, Steve Mandanda, Andros Townsend and Christian Benteke; the signings made by Pardew so far has seen the club rank fifth in the Premier League for spending in the transfer window this summer.
It is understood that the club are looking to bolster the squad with another signing before the end of the window with it being mentioned that it was hopeful that Palace would make “one or two” more signings before Wednesday’s 11pm (BST) deadline.
