Premier League club West Bromwich Albion have made an enquiry over the availability of Connor Wickham, according to the Guardian.
The 23-year-old striker joined the Eagles from Sunderland in 2015 and was a popular player with the fans last season, scoring on six occasions, including in Palace’s FA Cup semi-final against Watford.
Former Palace boss Tony Pulis, who famously left the club just days ahead of the opening day of the season two years ago, is said to be an admirer of Wickham, who was a top target for the former boss during his time at Selhurst Park.

The report suggests that the Eagles would have to find a replacement for Wickham should they receive an offer that would be significant enough to secure his services, before letting him leave the club.
Palace have bolstered their attacking options so far this summer, ahead of the deadline on Wednesday, by signing former Tottenham winger Andros Townsend who has impressed many supporters since his move to the club, as well as the signing of Christian Benteke.
