Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has named his price for tricky winger Wilfried Zaha, after the youngster put in a fantastic performance in the Eagles’ 2-1 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.
Zaha provided a brilliant assist for Christian Benteke’s opener, before scoring the winner for himself to send Palace back home with all three points.

The quality of his performance was one more of the ilk that Manchester United expected from him when they bought him from Palace back in 2013. However, David Moyes didn’t favour the winger and Zaha was sent on loan to Cardiff and then Palace, before then being sold on a permanent deal to his former club – having made just two appearances for United.
Tottenham Hotspur made a bid for Zaha in the most recent transfer window, but it was rejected by Pardew, as he explained [Sky Sports]:
“Of course I sat down and spoke to him. I want someone to blow the doors off if they’re going to come for him, not have him go somewhere as a squad player at £16-17 million”
Pardew then named his price for Wilfried:
“When you see someone put £50m that’s when you think about it. That assist for the first goal – I can’t ask for more”
Zaha has made 53 appearances for Crystal Palace since his permanent return to the club, scoring six goals.
