Crystal Palace have had a slightly below par start to the season and with the transfer window now closed, the club can’t look to buy any new players to improve the squad depth, but they could still sign some free agents if they thought it would be worthwhile.
Alan Pardew might think his current options are good enough but it wouldn’t really hurt to take a look at a few players, even if it’s on a trial or on a very short-term deal.
We’ve taken a look at some of the players who are currently without clubs and have identified some who we think could do a decent job if the Eagles decided to bring them in.
Provided the wages and signing-on fees aren’t too high, there would be little risk in at least bringing a few of these players in on trial to see what they have to offer.
