A late, late goal from Ashley Barnes ensured that Crystal Palace left Turf Moor with nothing after they’d come back from two early goals to equalise with less than ten minutes to go.
Sam Vokes put the home side ahead within 90 seconds and Johann Berg Gudmundsson doubled the lead in the 14th minute.
Palace were frustrated until the 60th minute when Connor Wickham pulled a goal back. In the 81st minute, Matt Lowton’s handball gave Palace a penalty which Benteke scored.
Palace chased a winner but got caught with a late sucker punch as Barnes lashed home.
