Southampton are lining up a move for Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye, according to a report from the Croydon Advertiser.
The Frenchman is in just his second season with The Eagles but the report claims that if Palace are to find themselves in the relegation zone come the end of the season, Saints will look to pounce.

The 30-year-old has found regular playing time slightly hard to come by this season after picking up an injury early on in the season. However, he’s hit a good run of form as of late and has impressed in Palace’s last few games, even if results haven’t quite gone their wat.
Cabaye’s compatriot Claude Puel may be looking to find a new central midfielder in the near future to bolster his squad, with the former Newcastle man offering a creative and experienced outlet from midfield.
Palace are by no means safe from the drop this season but will be confident of staying up as they have a lot of quality in their side.
