After conceding a late goal against Manchester United, one which saw them lose the game, things don’t get any easier as Chelsea, currently on a 10 game winning streak in the league, visit Selhurst Park on Saturday morning.
Alan Pardew’s squad is being tested somewhat in recent weeks as there are a number of players out injured.
James Tomkins (groin), Bakary Sako (muscle), Connor Wickham (knee), Loic Remy (calf), Steve Mandanda (knee), Bakary Sakho (leg) and Mathieu Flamini (groin) are all unavailable for selection, so Pardew’s hands are somewhat tied in terms of what he can do.
It’ll be a tough game for Palace and in truth, they have little to lose facing Antonio Conte’s juggernaut and that could free them up somewhat.
It’ll be very, very tough game and the players will need to be on their game if they wish to compete.
