Wilfried Zaha has certainly it a real purple patch in his career lately.
So far this season, Zaha has scored three goals and recorded eight assists in 17 Premier League appearances so far this season – his best single-season totals in both statistics throughout his entire career to date.
Fine form doesn’t go unnoticed. While England and the Ivory Coast are squabbling over Zaha’s international future, Tottenham are certainly interested in signing Zaha in January to play for them week in, week out.
However, the Guardian are reporting that Crystal Palace will reject any offer Tottenham submit for their star winger next month.
There have been murmurs that Tottenham would package a deal worth £30m for Zaha in January but Crystal Palace are confident they can tie him down to a new contract.
Tottenham made approaches for Zaha in the summer which then manager Alan Pardew shot down, and Sam Allardyce is expected to follow suit.
