In Sam Allardyce’s first match in charge of Crystal Palace on Boxing Day, his side ambled their way to a well-fought draw at Vicarage Road against Watford.
However, it was followed up by a disappointing showing at the Emirates in a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal which meant Palace had lost three of their last four Premier League games.
Sam Allardyce has a real job on his hands with Palace this season. Having never been relegated from the Premier League, he hopes to maintain that record.
Palace currently sit 17th in the Premier League table, two points above the relegation zone and next up for the Eagles is the visit of fellow strugglers Swansea.
In the reverse fixture, Swansea edged a nine-goal thriller 5-4 in what was a devastating defeat for Crystal Palace at the time.
Allardyce notoriously lines his teams up so they’re hard to beat but will he do the same this time?
