Sam Allardyce’s second game in charge of Crystal Palace ended in defeat as Swansea City ran out 2-1 winners at Selhurst Park.
Alfie Mawson headed Swansea ahead from Gylfi Sigurdsson’s free-kick late in the first half and for a long time, it looked like that would be the only goal of a poor game.
However, Palace thought they’d rescued a point when Wilfried Zaha scored with a wonderful volley seven minutes from time.
However, that was not to be the case as Angel Rangel scored a late winner for the Swans.
The result leaves Palace just one point above the drop zone and very much in a relegation battle.
