Crystal Palace are reportedly considering a move for Montpellier defender Jerome Roussillon.
The Guardian have reported that The Eagles are casting a keen eye over the 24-year-old this season and are seriously pondering making a move for him after a good start to the season.
Roussillon has been in impressive form for Montpellier ever since his arrival from Sochaux in 2015 and it looks as though his good performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with Palace seemingly looking to land him this month.
The report states that Sam Allardyce is looking to bring in the Frenchman in order to provide another defensive reinforcement for his squad, with Roussillon being targeted in order to act as a backup left-back in the absence of the currently injured Pape Souare.
Roussillon is also capable of playing in a more advanced role as a left midfielder but has made 17 appearances this season in all competitions playing as a left-back for Montpellier.
