Crystal Palace are one of three clubs to have made an offer of £7m to Leeds United for left-back Charlie Taylor, as per a report from Ed Aarons of The Guardian.
According to Aarons, Palace, Middlesbrough and West Brom have all made a £7m bid for the defender but Leeds have rejected all three offers and are insisting that the player is not for sale.
Even though Taylor’s contract runs out in the summer, Leeds look happy to keep hold of him as they see him as a vital part of their squad.

Whilst this stance may end up costing them in terms of a transfer fee, Leeds are battling for promotion and if Taylor can help them achieve that, then keeping him will be seen as a smart financial decision.
Whether Crystal Palace want to sign both Taylor and Jeffrey Schlupp remains to be seen. This could well be a case of Palace submitting bids for a few targets and seeing which ones were accepted.
