Talk of a move to China has been bandied about frequently this month, but a move to a European giant would surely be enough to turn anyone’s head.
According to the London Evening Standard, Paris Saint-Germain are considering a shock move for Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke this month if they fail to land other targets.
PSG manager Unai Emery wants to bring in another striker this month to ease the load on Edinson Cavani and play a backup role in case he gets injured and Benteke is someone on their shortlist.
It’s also been claimed that PSG want to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and Swansea’s Fernando Llorente before they approach Palace for Benteke.
The Belgian is Palace’s leading scorer this season with eight goals since his club-record £30m move from Liverpool in the summer and Sam Allardyce wants to build his team around Benteke to help the Eagles beat the drop.
West Brom have also been linked with a move for Benteke this month.
