Sam Allardyce has told the press that Crystal Palace have an agreement with Arsenal for the transfer of full-back Carl Jenkinson.
Speaking to the press ahead of Palace’s FA Cup third round replay with Bolton on Tuesday evening, Allardyce said that the Eagels have an agreement in place with Arsenal for the transfer and now it is up to the player to agree personal terms.
I think that’s negotiation between the chairman and the agent, but we appear to have an agreement with Arsenal [for Jenkinson].
Full back has been a bit of a problem position for Palace and despite signing Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City, it appears that Big Sam is looking for another addition.
Joel Ward has been the club’s first-choice right back for a number of seasons and has done very well but he could find his place under threat if Jenkinson does arrive at Selhurst Park.
