Marseille have reportedly made contact with Crystal Palace to enquire about Yohan Cabaye’s availability, as per a report from GFF.
Marseille manager Rudi Garcia worked with Cabaye when the pair were at Lille and wants a reunion back in Ligue 1.
The fact that Alan Pardew is no longer in charge at Palace might be enough to get the French international to consider his future as Pardew was a major reason for him deciding to join Palace in the first place.

According to the report, Cabaye himself is interested in the possibility of returning to his home country but it’s highly doubtful that Sam Allardyce will allow him to leave as Palace find themselves in the midst of a relegation battle.
Palace are looking to add to their squad rather than takeaway from it so if a deal is to be done with Marseille, it will likely have to wait until the summer at the earliest.
