French league leaders, OGC Nice are interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder, Yohan Cabaye.
According to the Mirror, Nice are looking into the possibility of bringing in both Cabaye and West Ham’s Dimitri Payet.
Nice are hoping to land the former Newcastle midfielder on loan as they do not want to pay a transfer fee for the player but would be willing to cover the entirety of his wages.
The French outfit were taken over during the summer and have money spend.
They sit top of the French league, ahead of the likes of AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bringing in both of the French internationals would go some way in helping them in their bid to be the first side that isn’t PSG to win the French league in the last four seasons.
Nice have bankrolled some high profile signings, bringing in Hatem Ben Arfa before selling him to the French champions, as well as signing former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
