After being linked with a move for Yann M’Vila, it’s clear that Sam Allardyce wants to bring in a robust central midfielder to Crystal Palace this month.
According to Spanish source Fichajes, the Eagles are one of several clubs eager to sign Valencia midfielder Enzo Perez this month.
The 30-year-old signed for Benfica in a £21m deal two years ago from Portuguese giants Benfica and has been a regular in the first-team ever since.

However, Perez’s form has dipped this season in La Liga and it’s believed that Valencia would consider offloading the Argentine international this month if they could recoup as much of the £21m they paid for him as possible.
Under contract until 2019, Perez has been previously linked with Manchester United in his early career illustrating the clear quality his has.
Palace are not alone in their pursuit of Perez as fellow Premier League outfit West Brom are also keen, as are Schalke and Roma while a lucrative offer from the Chinese Super League is also on the table.
