Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch looks set to join Reading on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has hardly featured for Palace this season and with Luka Milivojevic looking likely to join the club in the next 24 hours, Mutch’s chances of getting any game time appear to be fading fast.
Reading are flying high in the Championship table. They sit in third place, six points behind Newcastle in second, so Mutch will be looking to get his new side promoted to the top-flight and hopefully do enough to persuade them to make the deal permanent so he can get another crack at playing regular football in the Premier League.
There was talk earlier in the month that Mutch could re-join his former club Birmingham City, but it appears that he’s heading to Berkshire rather than to Birmingham.
