Crystal Palace winger Lee Chung-yong is set to join Birmingham City on loan, according to Ed Aarons of The Guardian.
The South Korean had been linked with a move to Swansea City but it looks like he will step down a division to join Gianfranco Zola’s Blues in the Championship.
Lee looked set to leave Palace in the summer after a falling out with previous boss Alan Pardew but a move never materialised and he ended up staying with the Eagles.

He’s found himself playing a bit-part role for most of the current campaign and he is looking for first team football and it appears that Sam Allardyce is willing to let him go on loan to get it.
The likelihood is that Palace will be receiving a loan fee for the 28-year-old and Birmingham will also be paying some, if not all, of his wages and with Allardyce looking to improve his squad, these finances will come in handy.
