Former Juventus defender Martin Caceres is set to fly into London to have a medical with Crystal Palace.
As reported by Ed Aarons of The Guardian, the Uruguayan international is expected to arrive in the UK on Tuesday to complete a move to Palace.
The 29-year-old has been a free agent since the end of June after Juventus decided not to extend his contract with the club.
Back in 2015, Caceres was suspended by Juventus after he crashed his Ferrari into a bus stop in Turin. He is alleged to have been drunk at the time and was suspended by the club for six months.

He returned to the side in January 2016, but not long after, he ruptured his right Achilles tendon, an injury which ended his season and subsequently his Juventus career.
However, he is back fit now and Sam Allardyce looks ready to offer him a deal to join Palace.
The Uruguayan international is a La Ligam, Serie A and Champions League winner so he’ll certainly look to bring a winning culture to Palace.
