Crystal Palace will have to sell a player to be able to complete the signing of Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, according to Gary Jacobs of the Times.
Today has seen a number of developments with the player and his agent currently in London for talks with Palace representatives over a proposed move ahead of the 11pm deadline.
Reports first emerged yesterday evening, linking the Eagles with a move for the defender who is currently out of favour at Liverpool following a falling out with Klopp at Liverpool, seeing him train with the U23 squad.

However, according to Gary Jacobs, Crystal Palace will need to sell a player to be able to sign Sakho, with there to be a reported fee of £20m to secure the services of the Liverpool defender.

Contrary to reports in the tweet, Sakho is not on a train to London and arrived in the capital earlier on this afternoon for talks, with the player being pictured at an underground station.
