Sam Allardyce saw his first victory as Crystal Palace manager at Bournemouth on Tuesday evening, with Scott Dann and Christian Benteke scoring the goals for the Eagles. It was also the Eagles’ first clean sheet in 22 away games, the last one of which was at Bournemouth on Boxing Day 2015.
Patrick Van Aanholt made his debut for the club and Wilfried Zaha featured in his first game since returning from the African Cup of Nations.
