Wilfried Zaha has been one of very few bright spots for Crystal Palace this season and it wouldn’t surprise anyone to learn the top clubs are after him in the summer.
According to the Express, Tottenham have made signing Zaha their top priority when the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.
Tottenham failed with a bid last summer for the Ivory Coast international and were said to be keen in the January transfer window but decided against a move at the time.
The report claims that Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham believe Palace would be willing to do business for around £25m to sell Zaha, a similar fee to the one they commanded when they sold Yannick Bolasie to Everton before the start of the season.
Zaha is enjoying the best season of his career. His four goals and eight assists in 21 Premier League games are his best single-season returns in both categories to date and he’s been the driving force behind everything good for Palace this season – which isn’t saying much.
If Palace beat the drop then keeping Zaha at the club is a must.
