Sam Allardyce is setting Palace players homework via an smartphone app in a bid to help the club’s bid for survival, with players working both at the training ground and at home, reports the Daily Mail.
Being sent to their smartphones, the players are receiving such things as video clips and information about their next opponents, to help them prepare for the fixture ahead.
Big Sam is known for his sports science approach to the game and has previously at Sunderland sent players post-match detailed analysis on their performance.

Palace are using an app named Pushfor, it allows the club to send information and videos to players, as well as being able to see who has viewed them, when they have viewed them and where the videos are being viewed.
A cryotherapy chamber has also been installed at the club’s Beckenham training ground, since Allardyce’s appointment. Previously, the club brought a chamber in once a week for the players to use.
Crystal Palace are preparing to face West Brom this weekend and will be hoping to close in on the teams above them with the relegation battle becoming tighter and tighter.
