Crystal Palace won back-to-back games for the first time since September to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
Eagles’ wing duo of Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend scored two brilliant solo goals to secure a 2-0 victory at The Hawthorns against Tony Pulis’ West Bromwich Albion side.
This win gives the team some real momentum in the hope of survival.
Both goals came in the second half after some individual brilliant from both the wide men and they both helped to secure a well-deserved three points for Allardyce’s team.
The opening goal came from Zaha on 55 minutes after a good cross-field ball from Yohan Cabaye was controlled and after some direct running from Zaha, he slotted it home.
Townsend’s goal was a magnificent solo effort, he won a tackle against Jonathan Leko in this own half, then ran the whole length of the pitch before the shot was dispatched, which sealed a crucial win in the battle to avoid relegation.
