Over the international break, six Crystal Palace players were in action for their respective countries as they took part in 2018 World Cup qualifiers and friendlies across the world.
James McArthur was the only absentee as he was withdrawn from the Scotland squad before their game due to injury.
Winger Wilfried Zaha represented the Ivory Coast for the sixth time since his nation change. During the break, they played both Russia and Senegal, with Zaha scoring a brilliant solo goal against Russia. Watch a clip of his goal below:

Palace’s under 17 player Nya Kirby played for England’s under 17’s team as they faced the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Bosnia and won all three games.

Luka Milivojevic featured for Serbia as they came from behind to win 3-1 against Georgia. Luka played an important role in the team, creating numerous chances for his teammate Dusan Tadic.
Wayne Hennessey and Joe Ledley both played in Wales’ draw with the Republic Of Ireland, keeping a clean sheet intact. This result meant that Ireland had to settle for second place in the qualifying group with them still to play first place Serbia. Wales need to start winning games if they want a chance of playing at the World Cup next year.

Christian Benteke scored two first-half goals for Belgium in their 3-3 draw with Russia on Tuesday evening. His first came when a corner wasn’t cleared and he headed in the rebound, the other was another header, this time from Nacer Chadli’s free-kick. Benteke also won a penalty early in the first half after he was fouled and Kevin Mirallas scored from the spot.
