Unsurprisingly, Crystal Palace want to turn Mamadou Sakho’s loan move from Liverpool into a permanent transfer at the end of the season, as reported by Ed Malyon of The Independent.
The French international has solidified Palace’s defence since coming into the side and the team have won all four games in which he’s started.
After falling out with Jurgen Klopp, Sakho’s future appears to be away from Anfield and Sam Allardyce would like to keep him at Selhurst Park on a permanent basis.

However, the 27-year-old’s performances for Palace this season, whilst doing a lot to keep the club in the Premier League, might actually prevent them from signing him.
Liverpool will reportedly ask for around £30million for the former PSG star and if he continues playing at such a high level, Palace might find themselves in a bidding war that they are unable to win.
One club reportedly interested in Sakho is Southampton and with Liverpool wanting to sign Virgil van Dijk in the the summer, a possible player plus cash deal could be on the cards.
