According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is looking to sign Mamadou Sakho on a permanent deal in the summer.
Sakho has been solid since signing for the Eagles and it’s understood that a permanent deal is on the cards. Sakho could not play earlier today in Palace’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool as he’s only on loan from the Merseyside club.
However after being told that he isn’t in Jurgen Klopps’s plans, he may want to secure a move to London.
Sam Allardyce has steered Crystal Palace towards safety since joining and they now sit in 12th place and look comfortable for a lower mid-table finish.
When Allardyce joined, Palace were in big trouble and many critics claimed that this was too big of a challenge for Allardyce. However, he has proved his doubters wrong and Steve Parish may reward him with a big budget for the upcoming transfer window.
In Palace’s remaining five games they still have to play Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United. Mamadou Sakho may still have a big role to play in the squad.
