Desports, a Chinese marketing company, are reportedly looking to take over a Premier League side and according to a report from Matt Hughes of the Times (£), they have had informal discussions about purchasing a stake in Crystal Palace.
Hughes says that Desports owner Jiang Lizhang has instructed intermediaries to speak with Palace directors David Blitzer and Josh Harris to see if they’d be willing to sell their combined 36% of the club.
Steve Parish, who owns 18% of the club apparently does not want to sell his stake but it is unclear if Blitzer and Harris will take the same stance.

They invested in the club back in December 2015 and they could well be offered the chance to sell up less than two years later for a profit.
Desports already own La Liga side Granada and NBA franchise Minnesota Timberwolves and it looks like they want to expand their portfolio by purchasing a club in the top flight of English football.
