Crystal Palace failed to push on in their pursuit of Premier League safety yesterday as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Burnley.
The Eagles headed into the match determined to make up some ground on their counterparts and bounce back after losing 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at home in midweek.
However, they would not take anything from the clash at Selhurst Park and were stunned by a clinical Burnley side.
Palace could have quite easily had a penalty as Wilfried Zaha was scythed down by Tom Heaton, but the Ivorian’s run was judged to be offside.
However, a goal in either half from Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray was enough for the visitors to clinch their first away win of the Premier League season, helping them to all but secure their place in the top flight for the next campaign.
So, here are our match ratings from Palace’s disappointing second defeat on the bounce yesterday.
