Crystal Palace have joined Leeds United in the chase for free agent goalkeeper David Stockdale, as per a report from John Cross of the Mirror.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at Brighton & Hove Albion and as it stands, he’s yet to agree to a new deal, so he’ll be able to sign for any club on a free transfer.
Crystal Palace’s goalkeeper situation is not at all settled with Steve Mandanda apparently looking to move back to France and veteran Julian Speroni also set to become a free agent.

Wayne Hennessey has done well in recent weeks but he’s hardly a consensus fan favourite and at worst, Sam Allardyce needs to bring in some competition for him.
Stockade, who was a huge factor in Brighton’s promotion, would not be popular on the south coast if he did decide to leave the Seagulls to join rivals Crystal Palace but it’s unlikely that he’ll join Leeds with Premier League football on offer.
He’s also been linked with a move to Chelsea as a backup option with Asmir Begovic set to leave, although it remains to be seen if he’s happy with a role sitting on the bench for the champions elect.
