Crystal Palace are hoping to strike a deal with AFC Wimbledon’s 16-year-old goalkeeper Joe Bursik, according to a report from London News Online.
Bursik is a reported target for fellow Premier League club Stoke City, but Palace are strong favourites to secure his signature.
The talented goalkeeper was a key figure for the England under 17s side as they reached the European Championship final, only to be defeated by Spain on penalties. However, the young shot-stopper earned great praise for his rise into the National team setup.

The youngster was also a key part of the AFC Wimbledon side which reached the last-16 of the FA Youth Cup.
The goalkeeper has been with the club since he was eight years old and earlier in the season, he was named on the bench for Wimbledon’s first-team in their goalless draw with Swindon.
Bursik was called up to an England training camp in November, before earning the call-up to the under-17 side for the tournament in Croatia.
